What a great turnout at NADC Spring School in Prince Rupert! We had a busy week of courses, meetings and elections and for the first time in a long time all executive positions have been filled! Congrats to all that let their names stand & look forward to working with you all! Special thanks to Rick Gilkir for the Social on Wednesday & a fantastic supper with “excellent door prizes” on Thursday.

For the first time in the history of NADC we had a school in Quesnel. It was a great school with classes in steward learning series, retirement planning, financial officers and a new course woman breaking barriers. Many thanks to Denice Bardua and her local for the planning and efforts during the school. Nice to see the various members helping out.
The weeklong class “Duty to Accommodate” is underway in Quesnel at the Best Western Tower Inn. Union activists are learning the ins and outs of how a member is legally required to be accommodated for a variety of issues in the workplace.
The remainder of the courses for the week will be held at Helen Dixon Centre, part of the SD#28 Training Centre
The classes for the Fall 2015 NADC are not being held at the recommended hotel for the school (Best Western Tower Inn) but rather at the SD#28 Continuing Education building at 241 Kinchant St. Please see the map for how to get there from the hotel.
This form was recently emailed out to the various CUPE Presidents and is now available for download from the CUPE NADC web site.
